“Therapy is the journey home to our true essence, & possibilities, by way of freeing the present moment from past influences & injures"

I hope the information within will help you decide if working together feels like a good fit for you.

Psychotherapy is much more than a job or career to me: It is a commitment and a calling. My therapeutic stance is gentle, curious, interactive, exploratory, non-pathologizing, and customized to each client. I assist clients to compassionately know themselves, cutivate healthy relationships, grow through loss and change, find unique answers to specific challenges, and develope a clear, embodied, and evolving sense of purpose in this lifetime. An extensive nursing background augments my respect for body wisdom, as a limitless source of inner knowledge and information; I trust in, and rely upon, a mind-body connection to inform my work.

**The relationship you have with a therapist is the most important aspect of your treatment, so choosing someone you feel safe with, and respected by, is a very important decision. Therapists are as diverse as are members of any field, and practice very different ways of assisting clients. A good therapist is either flexible enough to customize therapy to you, or wise enough to refer you to someone who better fits your natural style, way of being in the world, and/or cultural values. It takes courage to seek out help, and you deserve the best therapeutic fit possible.**
